![]() So much fun was had on Saturday at TCR. There were over 125 in attendance with lots of horse people -Reiners, Cutters, Eventers, Jumpers, fans, etc. We also had wine lovers in the mix. It was an afternoon of entertainment, BBQ, drinks, and community support. Fans got to witness Bill Norwood and cutting legend Tim Smith put on helmet and ride a Jumper. Eventing Champ and trainer Tamra Smith also swapped into a Western saddle and ran a nice reining pattern. TCR wine Club Members came out to pick up their summer shipment and fans got to try the wines for the first time. Most importantly, the community rallied to help raise money for Bill and Quinberry on their road to the World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France late this summer. Here is a video of the cowboys getting over some jumps. https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Rode-to-WEG-Fundraiser/744260172279813http://www.norwoodperformancehorses.com/

We are excited that the first will be on Saturday, March 15, 2014. We are doing this so that those of you that are interested in horse events can have chance to get in on a fun event. Each year Tucalota Creek Ranch is the home to one of Rancho California Caballeros' (RCC) Horse Events. This year the group is going for a trail ride and will participate in a cattle sorting competition. Usually this is for RCC members and spouses only, but they have extended the invitation to those of our wine club members who might want to participate. The cost for the day, including lunch and dinner is $65.00 per person. If you are interested, you need to register at the RCC site. If you wish to just join us for the pick-up and wine tasting, we will be doing that from 3 pm to 5 pm. We are putting Light N Fine and our latest release, Grand Prix in this first wine club order. I am sure you will enjoy these wines and the story of Susie Hutchison who is honored on the Grand Prix label. Of course, if you want to choose different or additional wines we can do that. Please RSVP by email or phone (714-914-West), if you will be joining us for the Wine Club Event from 3pm to 5pm. If you are not joining us, please let me know when you will be picking up your wine. I do hope you check out the RCC Event and meet this fun group of people; It will be great for riders and non-riders alike. Thank you Dale and all those that attended this fun event! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJfyWSnnLMM&sns=em Thank you to all the competitors who came out for the Fiesta Fever Jackpot. Congratulations to the class winners. You put on a great show for all the TCR Cellars Wine Club Members who came to taste and p/u wine.
We are working to create a new web experience for all of our friends and customers. In the coming weeks, you will find a portal that will allow to learn more about the ranch business-boarding, breeding, and training, our very own wines and wine club, hosting a wedding or other event, and our ranch inspired goods including custom designed and built craftsman furniture. So, pardon our dust, but the trail ahead looks great!
